Dr Jart Water Fuse BB Cream

Helloooo! Sorry for my long absence, I've been a bit bogged down with exam revision and I've had a couple of weekends away. I'm back now, and I have a review for this very popular BB cream. I got this when I was back in the UK a couple of weeks ago and I fancied taking advantage of the Boots 3 for 2 deal. I wasn't sure whether to get this one or the Regenerating one as I had no idea which one was more suited to my skin type, but I preferred the way this melted into my skin.

The Packaging

This comes in a pleasant, metallic blue squeezy tube. The fact that it's a squeezy tube makes this very hygienic and easy to transport as it isn't heavy. It's also really easy to control the amount of product you get.

The Product

This comes out of the tube as a light beige cream with a slightly greyish tinge. It starts off as a normal consistency for a foundation or a tinted moisturiser, but the second you start to rub it in, it becomes very thin and watery (hence the name?), making it very refreshing to apply. This BB cream will give you a light coverage, so it will cover up uneven skin tone, but probably won't completely cover spots. I absolutely love the luminous finish that this gives my skin! As the coverage is only light, it looks like your skin is naturally glowing; it's really very pretty. This will probably last for about 6 hours until you need to top it up again, and I would wear a powder on top of it on a hot day if you get a shiny forehead like me, as the luminous finish will exacerbate that.

I don't pay much attention to the 'miracles' BB creams claim to do for your skin (I think that's all rubbish), but I would say that you could probably get away with not moisturising before this, if you're in a real rush. I've done this a couple of times and my skin didn't feel tight at all. Although, it isn't as moisturising as an actual face cream, so I wouldn't do this every day.

The Verdict

At £21 I find this to be quite an expensive product, but I do really like it. It's by far the best BB cream I've used. I think it's a great product for days when you only want a little bit of coverage. The finish of this BB cream is just amazing, and I think for that reason alone, it is worth a go!

  1. This looks like such a great product; your skin looks amazing without, but has added radiance with it! I definitely want this for those summer days where I don't want to layer on my normal heavier foundations :)

    1. Thank you! It's perfect for days like that, you can't feel it on the skin either. Sometimes foundations can feel icky in warm weather.

  2. You have such amazing skin even without it! But the BB cream gives it a really nice glow, I might have to try this out!
