November Favourites

As we come to the end of November, it's time to sum up my absolute favourite products of the month.

Lush Big Shampoo and Conditioner

After hearing really positive reviews about this, I decided to take the plunge into Lush hair care. As I have a lot of hair, it is very heavy and can sometimes look a bit flat, so I was in the mood for something that would give a bit of lift at the roots. The fact that this contains chunks of sea salt sold me, because I love the way my hair looks when I get out of the sea, but sea spray never works for me. This actually has the same effect, but without the horrible texture, so my hair is wavy, volumised and soft. I was intimidated by the solid conditioner (not photographed) at first,  as I wasn't sure on how to use it. I tend to rip a bit off, smush it in my hands and then rub it into the ends of my hair, making sure I leave it for a couple of minutes. It isn't the most moisturising of conditioners, although it does leave my hair feeling nice and soft, so I do make sure to use a hair mask every week. These also smell incredible. I am rubbish at describing scents, but I'd describe these two products as having a very exotic smell. According to Lush, they include coconut, lemons, limes, mandarin, orange, neroli and vanilla. The smell does last well on the hair, I wash my hair every other day and I could still smell the fragrance then! They are quite expensive products, but you really don't need to use much, especially the shampoo, which creates a wonderful lather.

Lush Rub Rub Rub Shower Scrub

This is called Gratte-Ciel in the picture because I bought it in France. Another Lush product....can you tell I'm obsessed? This is another salty product, but this time the salt is used to exfoliate the skin. Whereas it is more like table salt than the big chunks in Big, this really really works, and it leaves my skin feeling baby soft. This also has a very exotic citrus smell, that is quite similar to Big. It contains lemon juice and oil, mimosa, orange flower and jasmine, which also lasts really well on the skin. If any one knows, do they do a moisturiser that smells like this? I don't like covering this gorgeous smell up!

Nails Inc. St. Martin's Lane

I got this in the Nails Inc. Nail Polish Diary, which I wrote about here. It believe this is the perfect Autumn/Winter colour! It's a beautiful plum, which I just love, and I would happily only have this nail varnish at the moment. It reaches opacity on one coat too, which is a massive plus.

MAC Dark Deed Lipstick

Alright, there might be a bit of a purple theme here...But it's my favourite colour, and it being the end of Autumn, I have an excuse to wear it all of the time. I got this in a set I bought from MAC's Stroke of Midnight collection, which I wrote about here if you're interested. This is perfectly in between red and violet for me, and the subtle golden shimmer adds glamour, which means I can carry on wearing this through to the Christmas Season.

MAC Past Twilight Fluidline

OK, so you I can't have purple nails and purple lips without finishing the whole look off with some purple(ish) eyeliner. This is really more of a brown, but it does have plum undertones, meaning that I don't look like Marie from Breaking Bad, but everything goes together well. This was also part of the Stroke of Midnight collection, so click the previous link for more info.

Benefit Coralista

This is a bit of a golden oldie. I've had this for ages, and I fell out of love with it for a while, but I swear I've worn it every day this month! It's not too dark, so you can wear it with bold lips/eyes, and the finely milled shimmer looks as though you are glowing from within. Although, I haven't half hit pan on this, so I think I may need to get a new one soon!

So, that's it for November...which means one thing: I get to open my advent calendar soon. Have you guys tried any of these products? What were your November favourites? Let me know!
